My expedition career began in the military, where I was exposed to some of the world’s most remote and unforgiving environments. It wasn’t adventure in the romantic sense, it was tough, uncomfortable, and real. But those years shaped me more than anything else could have. They taught me that resilience is built, not gifted, and that the most powerful growth often comes through discomfort, uncertainty, and immersion in the unknown.
Since then, I’ve led and taken part in expeditions across polar regions, deserts, and mountains. Not for the glory, but for myself. That work has given me a deeply personal understanding of what true adventure really offers, not just thrill, but something deeper.
